5 killed, 11 injured in Doda mishap | KNO

Srinagar, April 24 (KNO) : Five persons were killed while 11 others were injured in a road accident that took place in Doda district of Chenab Valley. Reports reaching KNO said that, a minibus moving on Thatri-Gandoh road came under a shooting stone and got damaged, causing injuries to many. Soon after the mishap, authorities launched a major rescue operation in the area. Officials said that five among the passengers were killed while 11 others sustained injuries. The deceased have been identified as Mansoor Ahmed,35, son of S/o Saif Ali, Gulshan Begum, 30, wife of Mansoor Ahmed, Shakeela Begum, 45, wife of Gh Nabi, Mudassir Ahmed, 23, son of Javied Iqbal, all residents of Joura, Kamlasha Devi, 45, wife of Surjeet Singh of Sichal Tehsil Kahara.(KNO)
